Seoul & Jeju Island Itinerary

Day 1

ARRIVE in Seoul

Your flight lands at Seoul. You are transferred to the hotel for rest and relaxation.

Day 2

SEOUL > JINJU > BUSAN

The first stop is Jinjuseong Fortress which is historically linked to the Japanese invasion in 1592.

Afterward, transfer to Busan. The rest of the day will be free for you to explore Haeundae Beach, known for its modern feel. You can also enjoy watching busking along the shoreline as well as take a trip to Haeundae Market.

Day 3

BUSAN > GYEONGJU

After breakfast, visit the Nurimaru Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) House, where the world summits gather together for APEC meetings.

Next, head to Gyeongju, and explore Bulguksa Temple, the representative relic designated as a World Cultural Asset.

Afterward, visit the Gyeongju National Museum and Daereungwon Tomb Complex. This park has more than 20 large and small tombs from the Shilla period.

The last stop of the day will be Cheomseongdae Observatory, the oldest existing astronomical observatory in Asia.

Day 4

GYEONGJU > ANDONG > WONJU > PYEONGCHANG

After breakfast, transfer to Andong Hahoe Village, home to descendants of the Ryu clan of Pungsan, well-known for its traditional houses. Hahoe Village boasts exquisite scenic sights: the elegant Nakdong River flowing around the village, the magnificent Buyongdae Cliff, endlessly unfolding sandy beaches, and lush, ancient pine trees.

Next, visit Hanji Theme Park where you can get a chance to experience the hanji (handmade traditional Korean paper) making process. A short transfer will bring you to your hotel in Pyeongchang.

Day 5

PYEONGCHANG > YANGYANG (MT.SEORAK) > SEOUL

After breakfast, visit the Ski Jump Tower Observatory by monorail built for the 2018 Winter Olympic Games hosted in Pyeongchang. Take some free time to sip coffee or tea while enjoying the views.

Finally, travel to Yangyang for a short hike at Jujeongol on Mt. Seorak to enjoy the lush greenery and nature.

Day 6

Seoul

After breakfast, transfer to Gyeongbokgung Palace and head to the Gwanghwamun Gate to see Changing of Royal Guard Ceremony and visit the National Folk Museum. Pass by the Blue House, also called Cheong Wa Dae, then visit Insadong-gil and Jogyesa Temple.

Head to Myeongdong and visit Namsangol Hanok Village. Continue on to see the North Seoul Tower and visit its Observation Deck (cable car excluded).

Day 7

SEOUL > JEJU ISLAND

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Jeju Island. You will be greeted by a local driver who will transfer to your hotel. After checking in, the rest of day is free for your own leisure.

Day 8

Jeju Island

In the morning, move to Hallim Park consisting of botanical gardens, lava caves and folk village. Take a time at Hyeongje Haean-ro Seaside Street between Mt. Songaksan & Mt. Sanbangsan. You will also visit the spectacular volcanic rock formations of Jusangjeolli Cliff.

Then, visit Cheonjeyeon Falls, composed of three-staircase falls. Lastly, visit the Mysterious Road, which has earned its name since objects and liquids appear to roll and flow up the hill instead of down.

Day 9

JEJU ISLAND > SEOUL

After breakfast, visit the Jeju Folklore & National History Museum, which mainly displays natural historical items.

Then, visit Jeju Stone Park which was inspired by Jeju’s stone and spirit myths. Continue to visit Seongeup Folk Village, a small town with a vast amount of vibrant culture.

Move on to Seongsan Ilchulbong Sunrise Peak which rose from under the sea in a volcanic eruption over 100,000 years ago. Then, enjoy a diving show in which female divers dive into the ocean to gather various shellfish, seaweed and more.

Afterward, drive to Hamdeok Seoubong Beach to take in its great scenery and emerald-blue water. Then, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Seoul. Upon arrival, a local driver will pick you up to take you to your hotel.

Day 10

DEPART SEOUL

After breakfast, a local driver will greet you at the you lobby and transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
