Holy Land Tour Itinerary - Israel, Jordan

Day 1
ARRIVE at tel aviv
Your destination is Tel Aviv, the Israelian capital.
Day 2
Tel aviv - jerusalem
After the plane arrives, you will be taken to the hotel to rest.
Day 3
Jerusalem > masada > dead sea
Visit the most spectacular archaeological site, Masada. Take the cable car, visit the castle on the rock, and visit the three-story palace that extends to the northern cliffs. This palace has the ingenious Roman bath heating water system, and exquisite mosaic tiles. See the huge water storage tanks, serpentine roads–which were cut into the mountain walls–the ruins of the climbing slopes built by the Romans to attack this mountain city two thousand years ago, and the ruins of the ancient Roman army.
Around lunchtime, drive through the Judean wilderness to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on the surface of the Earth. Enjoy the scenery along the road between the salty water and majestic desert mountains. Catch glimpses of the caves of Qumran, where the precious Dead Sea Scrolls were found.
Later arrive at one of the comfortable Dead Sea resorts to experience the feeling of buoyancy in the heavy water, stay overnight at the Dead Sea.
Day 4
Dead sea > jericho > petra, jordan
After breakfast, head to Jericho, known as the oldest city in the world.
Take a bus to the famous Albert Bridge on the Jordan River (the border between Jordan and Israel) and say goodbye to Israel and say hello to the world's greatest city: Petra.
Day 5
Petra
Visit Petra, known as “Sela Edom” or Red Rock City, the ancient capital of the Nabateans. The beautiful castle was carved out of the rose sandstone, but mysteriously disappeared over 1000 years ago. Enter the narrow valley to visit the most precious treasures of the Middle East.
Visit the ancient ruins of the trade city established by the Arabs in Badin which will make your trip unforgettable. Stay overnight in Petra.
Day 6
Petra > karak castle > madaba > amman
After breakfast, head to Mount Nebo, a place believed to contain the tomb of Moses. Take the King's Road to visit Madaba, the home of Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics, and visit the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George.
Stay overnight at the modern capital city of Amman, formerly the Ammonite capital city.
Day 7
amman > tiberias
Tiberias, the old center of Jewish learning. Drive along the shores of the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum and visit the ruins of the ancient synagogue.
Day 8
canaan > nazareth > caesarea > jerusalem
Canaan Cana is recorded by the New Testament as the location where Jesus performed his first miracle of turning water into wine at a wedding banquet. The formerly unknown town of Canaan, located between the Sea of Galilee and Nazareth, became one of the destinations for future pilgrimages.
Visit the old town of Nazareth, intersperse in the alleys, visit the old churches, and admire the different traces of each era, so that you are in the middle of history. Then visit the first church in the village, Annunciation Hall. This church has a special feature: it displays the murals and sculptures of the "Mother and the Holy Child".
Day 9
jerusalem > gethsemane park
Visit Mount of Olives, a mountain in eastern Jerusalem, named after the olive trees that grow there. It is said that there is the residence of Jesus in Jerusalem.
Afterward, drive to the Israel Museum, see the Museum of the Shrine of the Book and view the original Dead Sea scrolls where they are housed.
Next, make your way to the Garden of Gethsemane, an orchard in Jerusalem. According to the New Testament and Christian tradition, Jesus went to pray here on the eve of the cross, and his disciples after the last supper. This is also where Jesus was betrayed by his disciple, Judas Judas. In addition, the Orthodox Church has traditionally believed that the Gethsemane is the place where the apostles buried Mary (the mother of Jesus).
Day 10
jerusalem - temple MOUNT
Visit Temple Mount, the most famous and holy location of the three major religions of Judaea, Christ and Islam. The Temple Mount was regarded as a holy place by the Jews because it is where Abraham received the will of God and sacrificed his son. In order to commemorate the most sacred location of the Jewish nation, it was said that King Solomon began to build a temple in Mount Moria (now the Temple Mount) in 1010 BC to store the arks–the Noah's Ark–and other sacred objects.
The last stations are in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. This Church is one of Christendom's Holiest places on earth. The Church contains Golgotha–the crucifixion site and also the tomb of Jesus burial and resurrection.
Day 11
jerusalem > Tel aviv
Jerusalem is a very special city. Every attraction has religious and historical significance. If you are actually enduring a pilgrimage, you will experience a rich spiritual journey. It is not surprising that Jerusalem attracts tourists from all over the world and drives many modern trends. There are open-air cafes next to the ancient ruins. The Old Town is a place you can't miss! After dinner, head to Tel Aviv Airport.
Day 12
Return home
End this wonderful 12-day trip to the Holy Land of Israel and have a warm welcome back home.
